Economic Sanctions in International Law and Practice.
This book is a collection of chapters discussing current legal and political challenges that the international community has faced in instituting and implementing economic sanctions. Economic sanctions are one of the most powerful tools that the Charter of the United Nations allows the international community to resort to in order to promote or maintain a common value in the interest of the world. They have increas- ingly and frequently been used in the real world since around the end of the last century, particularly during the last decade. It is the right time and advisable to dis- seminate the recent development of the theory and practice of economic sanctions.

Private Law, Nudging and Behavioural Economic Analysis The Mandated-Choice Model.
This book is, in essence, concerned with the traditional issue of legal p aternalism and its boundaries. Its main focus, though, is on the recent findings of behav- ioral economics and their impact on designing efficient public policies that aim to protect individuals from certain self-harming or self-endangering activities. The root causes of such activities are specific rationality deficits or behavioral weaknesses that have a negative impact on the individuals’ decision-making process.

Signal Traffic Critical Studies of Media Infrastructures
The ideas shaping this book evolved further through a panel at the 2012 Society for Cinema and Media Studies conference, in which Jonathan Sterne and Shannon Mattern participated, and during a workshop on media, materiality, and infrastructure at New York University, co-convened with Arjun Appadurai in 2014. We thank the Film and Media Studies Department at UC Santa Barbara and the Media, Culture, and Communication Department at New York University for their support in hosting and coordinating these workshops. We also thank our faculty friends, colleagues, and graduate students in these departments for the rich intellectual environments they provide daily.

Law and democracy : contemporary questions.
This book has evolved from ANU College of Law, Centre for International and Public Law’s Seventeenth Annual Public Law weekend, held at The Australian National University from 20–22 September 2012. The idea for the conference theme, ‘Law’s Challenge to Democracy/Democracy’s Challenge to Law’ was formulated through our discussions with Kim’s ANU colleague, Dr Katharine Young, who assisted us in the work associated with organising the conference. We thank her for her enthusiastic intellectual contribution to the foundations for this book

Markets for Cybercrime Tools and Stolen Data Hackers’ Bazaar
This report describes the fundamental characteristics of these markets and how they have grown into their current state in order to give insight into how their existence can harm the information security environment. Understanding the current and predicted landscape for these markets lays the groundwork for follow-on exploration of options that could minimize the potentially harmful influence these markets impart. This report assumes the reader has a basic understanding of the cyber, criminal, and economic domains, but includes a glossary to supplement any gaps.

The Impact of Covid-19 on the Future of Law.
It is a great honour and privilege to write this preface as a Dean who joined the Faculty of Law at the University of Johannesburg in March 2021. The era of COVID-19 fast-tracked us into the realities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and demanded resilience, strength, and agility to adapt to changing conditions. While the full impact of COVID-19 remains uncertain, it is generally accepted that it will continue to fundamentally transform all aspects of our occupational and personal lives. This was the backdrop to our discussions at our Dean’s Committee when the idea was sparked to do a book project on the impact of COVID-19 on Law. At this Committee, the title of the book “The Impact of COVID-19 on the Future of Law and Related Disciplines” was birthed.
