"Practical Railway Engineer Variational Inequality Formulation"
This thesis provides an interdisciplinary study of the 1839 book, Drawings of the London and Birmingham Railway, authored by John Cooke Bourne. Bourne’s volume depicts, in rich detail, construction of that rail line, the first major railway to reach into London’s metropolis. Drawings also is a landmark in tinted lithography. The first chapter focuses on the project’s origin and development. It places particular emphasis on influences exerted by John Britton, who transformed an artist’s fascination with change into an opportunity to create an overt political argument. I locate Britton’s motives squarely within a campaign to assimilate radical changes of industrialisation into the genteel English landscape (and into the lives of changeresistant landed gentry). I also compare Bourne with other artists in a small coterie attracted to the excavations between Camden Town and Euston, including Thomas Talbot Bury, Robert Biemmel Schnebbelie, and George Scharf. I also link Bourne with engravers and printers in his local community of work.

Apply a short circuit on the plant and connect a high current low voltage ac supply from a Primary Injection set. Apply the full rated ac current and measure the current in all the CT secondary circuits. Use a milliammeter to display the residual current in earth fault circuits. With all phases short circuited on one side of the plant, apply the primary injection on the other side. Apply the current between the red and yellow phases, repeat between the yellow and blue phases and repeat again between the blue and red phases. Finally apply the injection current between one phase and earth. Record the current in all CT secondary circuits and the CT residual current on each test and check the results are as expected. Many relays use a metal plug to set the current rating. A useful device is a split plug to fit these relays with a lead to an ammeter connected to each side of the split plug

Dynamic Electric Power Supply Chains and Transportation Networks: An Evolutionary Variational Inequality Formulation"
In this paper, we develop a static electric power supply chain network equilibrium model with known demands and establish the equivalence between the model and a transportation network equilibrium model with fixed demands over an appropriately constructed supernetwork. This equivalence yields a new interpretation of electric power supply chain network equilibria in path flows. We then exploit this equivalence to propose a dynamic electric power supply chain network model in which the demand varies over time using an evolutionary variational inequality formulation. Finally, we demonstrate how numerical dynamic electric power supply chain network problems can be solved utilizing recently obtained theoretical results in the unification of evolutionary variational inequalities and projected dynamical systems.
